How long does the hair need to before waxing?
After shaving, your hair needs at least 2 weeks worth of growth. Anything longer than that is fine, but the minimum is 2 weeks. For underarms the minimum is 1 week.
Do I need to do anything before I come in for a wax?
Nope! Please do not trim or shave, It does not matter how long your hair is, it can still be waxed. Longer hair does not mean a more painful wax.
What is your cleanliness policy?
After every service, each bed is wiped down with a fungicidal, virucidal cleaner. Our wax is NEVER double dipped and we use a new stick every time we dip into the wax.
Does waxing hurt?
The pain is different for everyone... some feel less than others. We offer a powerful numbing cream for those who are afraid of the pain and should be used 1 hour prior to your appointment.
Can I get waxed if I'm on Accutane or prescription acne medication?
You cannot be waxed if you are currently on Accutane. You must get an Ok from your doctor to be waxed after you finish your Accutane treatments. You cannot be waxed on your face if you are on Prescription Acne medication such as Epiduo or Retin-A.

How do I prepare for my lash extension service?
Before coming to your lash extension appointment, your lashes should be throughly cleaned with a mild cleanser. Do not use an oil based makeup remover to clean your lashes. Lashes should not be curled or permed and ALL mascara should be removed, The service can range from 1 hour - 2 hours long and if you arrive with unclean lashes, that will cut into your application time.
Are eyelash extensions safe?
Chateau Blanc Lash & Beauty Lounge only uses the highest quality, MADE IN AMERICA medical grade adhesive. The eyelash adhesive never comes in contact with your skin. It is possible to do a patch test prior to your appointment to ensure you are non reactive to the glue. Please notify us a week prior to your appointment if you would like to come in for a patch test. A patch test must be scheduled.
How long to eyelash extensions last?
Longevity depends on how diligent you are about taking care of them. Eyelash extensions last through the length of your natural growth cycle of each lash, which is between 60-90 days. Touch-ups or refills are recommended every 2-4 weeks to replace lashes which have fallen out due to the life cycle of ones natural lash. We offer 2 week, 3 week, 4 week Fill-ins, and package deals to help you save on each service.
Is there any after care needed to maintain my eyelash extensions?
Yes! Eyelash extensions are very easy to maintain. Avoid excess rubbing and any oil based makeup removers. A lash care sheet will be given to you after your first appointment and we offer iLASH CARE kits to further elongate your lash extension retention. These will all be discussed at your first appointment as well.
How do you remove eyelash extensions?
There are two methods: One method to remove your eyelash extensions involves coming in for a lash removal service. A special removal gel is applied to your lashes to dissolve any remaining glue. Please do not attempt to remove them yourself, as you can do serious damage to your existing lashes. The second method is to let them naturally fall off by themselves. This will take about 2 months.
