EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Q: HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY LASH EXTENSION SERVICE?

A: Before coming to your lash extension appointment, your lashes should be thoroughly cleaned with a mild cleanser. Lashes should not be curled or permed and ALL mascara should be removed.

The  service can range from 1 - 2 hours long and if you arrive with unclean lashes, that will cut into your application time. We offer after care cleansers on site for your lashes to be cleaned.

Q: ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS SAFE?

A: At Chateau Blanc we only use the highest quality, medical grade  adhesive. The eyelash adhesive never comes in contact with your skin. It is possible to do a patch test prior to your appointment to ensure you are non reactive to  the glue. Please notify us a week prior to your appointment if you would like to come in for  a patch test. A patch test must be scheduled.

Q: ARE YOUR EYELASH EXTENSIONS MINK / ANIMAL DERIVED?

A: We use only synthetic silk lashes with no animal hair or other animal products. This prevents animal related allergies and ensures a strong stable curl, without sacrificing softness.

Q: HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

A: Longevity depends on how diligent you are about taking care of them. Eyelash  extensions last through the length of your natural growth cycle of each lash, which is  between 60-90 days.

Touch-ups or refills are recommended every 2-4 weeks to replace lashes which have fallen  out due to the life cycle of ones natural lash. We offer 2 week, 3 week, 4 week fill-ins, and  package deals to help you save on each service.

Q: IS THERE ANY AFTERCARE TO MAINTAIN MY EXTENSIONS?

A: YES! Eyelash extensions are very easy to maintain.  A lash care sheet will be given to you after your first appointment  and we offer iLASH CARE kits to further elongate your lash extension retention. These will  all be discussed at your first appointment as well.

Q: HOW DO YOU REMOVE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

A: There are two methods: One method to remove your eyelash extensions involves coming in  for a lash removal service. A special removal gel is applied to your lashes to dissolve any  remaining glue. Please do not attempt to remove them yourself, as you can do serious damage to  your existing lashes. The second method is to let them naturally fall off by themselves. This will  take about 2 months.

Elleebana® EYELASH LIFT

Q: IS THIS PROCEDURE SAFE?

A: Yes! Your eyes will be closed throughout the entirety of the service and the lashes are lifted onto our specially silicone rods before any products are applied to the lashes. Your bottom lashes are taped down and protected.

Q: HOW LONG DOES THE EFFECT OF A LASH LIFT LAST?

A: Depending on length and quality of your natural lashes, a lash lift typically lasts between 6-12 weeks. As your lashes grow, it will cause the lift to eventually grow out and relax.

Q: HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THE LASH LIFT TREATMENT?

A: Please come in makeup free! If you wear waterproof mascara please discontinue use 3 days prior to receiving the service. Any residue on the lashes can affect the quality of the lift. Any makeup will need to be removed prior to the service.

Q: AM I ABLE TO STILL WEAR MAKEUP/MASCARA?

A: Yes, as soon as the 24 hour window has passed you are able to resume the use of mascara and makeup. Using a lash safe or oil free makeup remover will be best in terms of removing makeup from the lifted lashes.

Q: WHAT IF MY LASHES ARE OVER PROCESSED?

A: If you feel the lash lift over processed your lashes we offer a service to resolve this for you. It's called an Eyelash Lift Relaxing Treatment. This service is intended to help relax over processed and excessively curly lashes. This nourishing lash treatment will help hydrate, and strengthen your natural lash, all while helping relax the overly curly strands.
